Vacuum probes (also called vacuum valves, pucks, sniffers, etc.) are an efficient means of providing a threaded connection through different bagging materials and tooling. Torr manufacturers all of the probes shown here to meet the variety of our customers' requirements. Standard 1/4-Turn Vacuum Probe (Round Base)
Our most popular vacuum probe installs with a simple 1/4-turn. The machined aluminum top and base are made for nylon and other thin film bags.
Consists of Male NPT Top with wrench flats, .125" thick Silicone Gasket and a Round Base with non-pinch design.

Standard 1/4-Turn Vacuum Probe with Rectangle Base
Our standard 1/4-turn probe is available with Rectangular Base to allow installation after the vacuum bag is sealed. Cut a slot just wide enough for the narrow end of the base fo slip into. Insert the base and rotate it so the slit aligns with the length of the base. Install the top as normal.
Consists of Male NPT Top with wrench flats, .125" thick Silicone Gasket and a Rectangular Base with non-pinch design.

Standard 1/4-Turn Vacuum Probe with Filtered Base
Our standard 1/4-turn probe is available with Filtered Base. The Filter will block a limited amount of resin and still maintain flow. We recommend applying a release coating to the probe base if resin contamination is anticipated.
Consists of Male NPT Top with wrench flats, .125" thick Silicone Gasket and a machined aluminum base with silicone o-ring, and resin filter.

Aluminum "Cinch" Probe
Installs like a typical 1/4-turn port but has a rotating cam. Due to the compound action of the cam this probe adapts to various material thicknesses and applies greater sealing pressure.

Stainless Steel "Cinch" Probe
Stainless steel version of our 324114 probe. Installs like a typical 1/4-turn port but has a rotating cam that adapts to various material thicknesses and applies greater sealing pressure due to the compound action of the cam.

Stainless Cinch Probe w/Installed 1/4" Snap-Tite Adapter
Separate the top portion of a 1/4" Snap-Tite quick-disconnect from the pipe thread adapter and, using the existing O-ring, screw it directly to the probe top adapter threads. The results are a low profile port with integral quick-disconnect and no pipe thread vacuum connection. Probe has our cam-action, high-pressure Cinch system.

4-Piece Hard-Anodized Aluminum 1Probe
This probe is sometimes referred to as a "3-piece" although there are actually 4 pieces. Our version accommodates quick-disconnects with a maximum hex size of 7/8" (such as Snap-Tite E series). Machined aluminum components are hard-anodized for long life. Washer has high-pressure bump for concentrated sealing force.

Stainless steel cover that provides unrestricted flow yet covers exposed ports in plates, molds, and other fixtures, preventing debris from entering vacuum lines. Installs directly over holes as large as .58" diam. Attaches with 2 stainless steel drive screws (included). Unique design does not hinder flow.
